Welcome to I Love My Music
Music has always been my passion. Not that I am a musician, or can can even carry a tune in a bucket, but I have always loved to listen to music. My first record I ever bought was I'm A Believer by The Monkees. I was 10 years old the first time I was on the radio. I'll save that story for another post. I fell in love with radio at the age of 14, and spent several years during high school, college, and beyond working in a profession that was "cool". It was truly the greatest job in the world. Playing the music that I loved to thousands of listeners.
I now get my "on-air" fix now by performing as a DJ at local weddings, class reunions, and birthday parties. Wow, when you write it down like that, it sounds sad. But, I enjoy bringing music to people, and thus the idea for this new blog.
My goal is to introduce you to some new songs by new artists....Bring back some memories from some Golden Oldies....and mostly just to have a "cool" place to go. I hope you enjoy.
